Northern Lights, Jeep Trails & Canyon Rappels: G + M’s 3-Day Sedona Honeylope

Three days. One epic desert elopement. And a little surprise light show— Thanks Mother Nature🤯.

G + M both already did the traditional wedding thing round one. Neither wanted to go through that again (can you blame them!) But they definitely wanted more than just a quick “I do” and some pics in a pretty spot —they wanted an actual adventure. And photos as souvenirs to the epic memories they wanted to make in Sedona during their elopement. So they packed their gear, met us in the red rocks, and we let Sedona do its thing.

Day One: Campfire Vibes + Northern Lights

Their Sedona Honeylope kicked off at camp, with dinner and a crackling fire under the stars. Just when we were all about to call it a night pinks and purples started spreading across the desert sky! The northern lights actually showed up— talk about a wild way to be welcomed to Sedona!

Day Two: Devil’s Bridge First Look + Desert Bluffs Ceremony Spot

The next morning was an early one. We loaded up, 4x4’d out to Devil’s Bridge, and they packed their wedding clothes in to get dressed on-site. G hadn’t seen the dress yet, so their first look was as real and raw as it gets—on top of a red rock arch with golden sunlight coming up all around them!

Sunset Ceremony time:

We rallied up another Jeep trail to a bluff that feels like Sedona’s best-kept secret. Claudia officiated their private ceremony, then pulled out her guitar and played for their first dance as the sun dipped behind the cliffs.

Day Three: Rappelling Adventures

To wrap up their elopement trip, we geared up and took G + M canyoneering through one of our favorite canyons in Sedona— definitely not a route you can find on all trails.  They showed up stoked—Wedding dress, harness, helmets—full send baby! Rappelling down steep drops, scrambling down less steep drops, and fully leaning into the adventure— it was the most epic way to wrap up their elopement trip😛

Why It Worked:

Because they said yes to the experience. G + M didn’t want a photoshoot—they wanted a new experience and epic memories and as it ALWAYS does, the desert provides.

M+G booked the 3-day Weekender's Package in Sedona.
