Red Rocks, Ropes & Romance: M + A’s Weekender Elopement in Sedona
M & A didn’t just want pretty photos.
They wanted their elopement to be an experience—something wild, intimate, and full of fun adventures. So we packed up the Airstream, headed out to the Sedona desert, and gave them a fall elopement they’ll never forget.
We set up their private basecamp in one of our favorite spots outside town, where the dark night skies magnify the Milky Way and the sunrises are so worth waking up for.
The Elopement Day:
As golden hour approached, the girls got ready in the Airstream with music bumpin’ and vibes sky-high. These ladies were definitely ready to rock and roll.🤘.
We off-roaded to the best sunset spot in Sedona. Claudia led their ceremony right on the cliffs—just the two of them, full of stoke and ready to promise their love to one another.
Afterward, we headed back to camp and fired up dinner: a cozy spread next to the campfire under a star-soaked sky.
The Next Two Days:
Full-on adventure mode. We rigged ropes, geared up, and led them up the first few pitches of a desert tower, then down into one of our favorite secret canyons.
They rappelled sculpted sandstone walls, navigated narrow slots, and shared belly laughs (and a few “holy sh*t” moments) the whole way.
They’d never rappelled before, but by the end of the trip, M was already Googling canyoneering schools and looking to see if there were canyons near home.
It was their first full days as wives—and the first of many canyon descents to come.😛
Why It Worked:
Sedona in November brings crisp mornings, golden light, and quiet desert magic. The Airstream made for the dreamiest off-grid stay, and the canyons gave them that extra shot of adrenaline.
No timelines. No posing. Just real moments and epic memories.
